cockatielsWe took Muffin for his annual exam on Saturday and surprise! We met another cockatiel named Tico. Even though it is an exotic clinic, we're usually the only bird people there. Even better, Tico's person was an old coworker of my husband's, so we had a good chat with her.
Muffin weighs 103 grams, is well muscled and in good health. Dr. W prescribed some dog glucosamine supplement for him. Muffin has been shuffling a bit and I think it might be arthritis. Whatever it is, it doesn't stop him from being a menace. Tico was a very well behaved bird.
